    Charles Sanky is an emergency medicine physician, disaster and population health researcher, and clinical operations expert. He serves as Assistant Medical Director of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. He is passionate about building resilient acute care delivery systems to protect patient and population health. Dr. Sanky has a proven track record in health policy and leadership, medical education, operations, disaster medicine, interdisciplinary collaboration, and advocacy. He was recognized by the Mount Sinai Health System's Department of Nursing as Physician of the Year in 2023 for his clinical acumen and collaborative approach to patient care. He completed a 4-year emergency medicine residency with substantial critical care and operations experience. He is fellowship-trained in Research and Administration/Quality. Dr. Sanky is currently completing his MBA degree. In his spare time, Dr. Sanky works as a professional musician at NYC and LA piano bars. Dr. Sanky is open to collaborations in the service of our patients.
