    Dr. Moin is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Divisions of Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism and GIM/HSR at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. She is also a Core Investigator at the HSR&D Center for the Study of Healthcare Innovation, Implementation & Policy (CSHIIP) and Founding Director of the CSP Network of Dedicated Enrollment Sites (NODES) at the VA Greater Los Angeles. Dr. Moin's clinical interests include diabetes and prediabetes. Her research expertise include pragmatic trials, comparative effectiveness studies, and implementation science. She is a principal investigator on several NIH, CDC and VA-funded studies focusing on the implementation and evaluation of interventions for patients with diabetes, prediabetes and/or obesity across diverse settings. Dr. Moin also holds leadership roles in several programs focused on the mentorship and development of physician-scientists across all research disciplines. These include the nationally recognized Specialty Training and Advanced Research (STAR) Program at UCLA, the Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Academic Mentoring (JAM) Program, and co-leading the Research Mentoring Core for the UCLA LIFT-UP network.
